Hi,
The popular Email Marketing Tips Blog Carnival is back. First edition of 2009 was published earlier today.
The summary:
- Tips and case-studies on email subject lines,
- how to send video emails (can you?),
- much more,…
- and last issue of Chris Garrett’s series about email marketing for bloggers.
A real power edition, great start in 2009. The editor promises to keep up with the high quality of the selected posts. Even if it meant to look out for them by himself.

It probably seems like magic… or a scam. But let me tell you, it’s neither one. In fact, it’s pretty easy once you have the business tool these big-profit marketers have. And Michael Rasmussen’s new “Get More Buyers” video course shows you how to get it.
Stop wondering how online marketers can send an email and see $2,500 or $5,000 or even $25,000 or more flow right into their bank account?
The secret lies in a good strategy and the knowledge of simple rules so many wanna-be marketers violate.
Of course, knowledge alone will not do it. You need to take action, too.

It started out with a big, big rush around September 15th 2007, when legendary Internet marketer, guru, self-made multi-millionaire John Reese, fired up his revolutionary BlogRush network. Everybody and their mother was blogging, tweeting, and talking about it. The big run on BlogRush showed the size of John’s tribe. His brand new site approached the 1,000 Alexa ranking mark within a couple of days.
Since yesterday we officially know it did not work out.
- It did not deliver for anybody
- John finally pulled the plug.
The only way to find out, if an idea is working or not is to do it.
John did it as I have pointed out in a post on E-Biz Booster Blog. It’s meant to a blog article about motivation by the way. You might find it interesting to read his letter of resignation below.
… I expect that there will be many BlogRush critics that will rejoice in hearing this news and relish in saying, “I told you so” and that’s fine. At least I had the guts to take a risk and to at least give the idea a try. I’ve become a successful entrepreneur (online since 1990) because I am not afraid to fail. I’ve had many ideas that didn’t work, and this one certainly won’t be the last.
I know that my overall success is a direct result from taking action and trying a lot of things. THAT is the real secret to building wealth.
In regards to BlogRush, many of my blog readers might remember when I came up with the idea at 4AM and even made a blog post about it. You never know when a great idea might come to you. So always be prepared to be ‘ready’ for it.
But most importantly, be ready to TAKE ACTION and at least TRY, or nothing will change in your life.
John Reese
Have you taken action today?

As a member of Seth Godin’s private social netowrk at Triiibes.com I have created a short little video showing all current 3662 members in 2 minutes and 2 seconds.
Cool!
Mr. Seth Godin himself praised the idea and left a comment on my E-Biz Booster Blog.
What is this all about?

Peter Drucker (1909–2005) was a writer, management consultant, and self-described “social ecologist.” Widely considered to be the father of “modern management,” his 39 books and countless scholarly and popular articles explored how humans are organized across all sectors of society — in business, government and the nonprofit world. His writings have predicted many of the major developments of the late twentieth century, including privatization and decentralization; the rise of Japan to economic world power; the decisive importance of marketing; and the emergence of the information society with its necessity of lifelong learning. In 1959, Drucker coined the term “knowledge worker.”
“The Effective Executive” by Peter Drucker
Check out his book, and become more productive. It doesn’t matter, if you are a solo entrepreneur or a manager in a large corporation. This book is for you.

Hey,
Just check out Jennifer’s post over at E-Biz Booster Blog. She found a review video on YouTube, which shows how easy it is to make video funnier (if you have the right kind of equipment).
For example the
“The Logitech Quickcam Orbit MP”
But never forget, a godd video needs much more than special effects. People get tired of those very quickly. At first is the hype and then after everybody has exploited the new “gimmick” it’s getting pretty boring very quickly.
A good video needs good content that engages the viewer. No matter if you are creating a short or a longer video try to tell a complete story. That’s what’s working best.
…and don’t forget. A video should not be a single second longer than necessary to convey that story.
Maybe I’ll write more about online video in the future, but now check out the video: Quickcam Orbit MP Webcam from Logitech

You need to see this!
ThirtyDayChallenge.com
Every year, this fellow Ed Dale generously teaches ANYONE
how to get started with an online business.
No agenda, no catch, no shenanigans.
It’s a month of free training that’s easily worth thousands
of dollars.
Why do I recommend it?
- Well, Ed Dale is a successful Internet entrepreneur himself. He knows what he is talking about and he walks his talk.
- It’s seriously about building a business! 10.00 US$ doesn’t seem to be much, but you get 1 systematic approach you can build on.
It’s supposed to sharpen your business skills as well. Too many people jump from project to project and never reach their potential.
- The challange is going on for years and it helped folks all over the world to change their lives.
- You don’t need to spend any money in order to participate.
- Check it out!

Jennifer
P.S.: Don’t write this off as “worthless” because it’s free.
Nowadays famous Internet gurus like Jason Moffatt and a few others actually got their start
by going though this exact training.
It will be fun, too. Go to the site now and watch Ed’s intro video.
